The 2024 Ford F-150 is set to bring forth a refresh for the perennially best-selling pickup, which means that we can expect to see revised styling on the outside, as well as a few changes inside the cabin as well. Ford Authority has reported extensively on the refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 over the past few months, while also spotting a host of prototypes out driving around, covered in varying levels of camouflage. Now, sources familiar with the matter have revealed yet another detail about the 2024 Ford F-150 – specifically, the higher-end Platinum trim.
The 2024 Ford F-150 Platinum will have its name spelled out on the hood, it turns out, which is a big change from the current model. However, this look isn’t totally new to the F-150 lineup, as the range-topping Limited currently features this same type of letting across the hood, as can be seen in the picture above.
Otherwise, there are several changes coming for the 2024 F-150 inside and out, as we’ve seen on numerous prototypes over the past few months. Inside the cabin, we’ve seen both horizontal and vertical infotainment screens, which could be running the typical Sync software of the long-awaited Google infotainment system that’s been in the works for some time now.
On the outside, the 2024 Ford F-150 lineup gets new headlights and taillights, along with slight revisions to the grille and various other tweaks, as well as newly available 22-inch wheels. These changes are fairly consistent throughout the lineup, including the base XL, which was spotted with no camo earlier this month, as well as the off-road focused Rattler, Tremor, Raptor, and Raptor R, all of which have been spied over the past few months. In addition to these changes, the 2024 F-150 is expected to be simpler than the current model, which is all part of Ford’s greater strategy to reduce complexity and boost profitability.
We’ll have more on the 2024 Ford F-150 soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford F-Series news, Ford F-150 news, and continuous Ford news coverage.

There are already photos of a star white platinum floating around, y’all are late. It has Platinum letters on the hood, similar to last gen’s Limited, and has the Tremor hood without having to get the Black Appearance Package.
I wish there were a Delete option for lettering/badging of F-series models. My King Ranch gets all the wrong attention when I have the great misfortune to cross south of the Mason-Dixon on business. The vandalism rates are skyrocketing there, and my attacks are always in cream cheese-looking neighborhoods.
