2024 Ford Mustang Lineup Gets New Deferred Payment Deal

Following its debut last September, eager pony car fans have been waiting for actual deliveries of the all-new 2024 Ford Mustang to begin, a process that is underway following a temporary production pause while The Blue Oval sorted out some quality issues discovered early in the process. However, while one may not expect that the S650-gen model would be eligible for any sort of incentives, customers can in fact take advantage of a new deferred payment deal on the entire 2024 Ford Mustang lineup, according to a bulletin recently seen by CarsDirect.

Now through October 2nd, the entire 2024 Ford Mustang lineup – including the EcoBoost, GT, and even the Dark Horse – is eligible for a no payment for 90 days deal, so long as customers finance their vehicle through Ford Credit. However, as one might imagine, there is another caveat worth noting – only buyers that finance with standard rates are eligible for the payment deferral, though in this case, that isn’t a huge concern as the 2024 Mustang didn’t launch with any special APR deals.

Regardless, it’s still notable that the 2024 Ford Mustang can be had with any kind of incentive at all, given the fact that this represents its first model year of production as an entirely new, redesigned vehicle that’s facing strong demand. However, the 2024 Mustang isn’t eligible for a special pre-order discount that many other 2024 model year Blue Oval vehicles are, and both the GT and Dark Horse are excluded from any lease deals, too.

As Ford Authority reported last month, many new Blue Oval models – including the 2024 Ford Ranger – are eligible for the aforementioned pre-order discount, otherwise known as the Ford Retail Order Bonus Customer Cash Certificate. This essentially means that customers who place an order by a specified cut-off date can receive a $1,000 custom-order incentive. While the Mustang is excluded from that offer, a number of other models are eligible – including the 2023 Ford Escape, Ford Bronco Sport, Ford Explorer, Ford Expedition, and Ford F-150, as well as the 2024 Ford Edge and Ford Expedition.
