Carlex Ford Ranger Raptor T-Rex Package Adds Some Aggression

Carlex Design has been producing special, bespoke versions of all kinds of vehicles for years now, ranging from mainstream pickups like the Ford Ranger to pricey luxury vehicles, and pretty much everything in between. Roughly three years ago, Carlex rolled out a seriously aggressive-looking version of the Ranger with an array of exterior upgrades and a luxurious interior, and now, it has followed up that effort with the new Ford Ranger Raptor T-Rex package.

The Ford Ranger Raptor T-Rex package from Carlex Design follows the same basic formula as the company’s prior offerings, albeit one based on the all-new, next-generation version of that rugged off-roader. The most obvious change is the presence of a full body kit that consists of a new front bumper and aluminum radiator guard, a hood scoop, wheel arch extensions, and side steps, which pair nicely with a set of larger 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped with Radar Renegade R/T 33×12/5-inch tires.

Moving toward the back, we can see a special roof light cover up top, along with T-Rex decals, a sports bar in the bed, Line-X coating, and a Tessera roller tonneau cover. Those that want more can also opt for a full-blown interior upgrade that takes the Ranger Raptor upmarket with high-quality leather covering everything from the seats to the dash and steering wheel, which is accented by an Alcantara headliner, seat inserts, and T-Rex badging.

The Carlex Ford Ranger Raptor T-Rex package starts out at 18,339 Euros – or just over $20K USD – for the exterior package alone, though installation is included at the company’s Polish headquarters. Interior upgrades can add quite a bit more to that cost, but for those looking to make their new high-performance off-road pickup stand out from the crowd, this is certainly a good way to do just that.

  1. So let me get this straight, this company decided to name their ranger package the same thing as Ford’s biggest Raptor competitor? That’s about as dumb as it gets.

What are they going to make next, a Velociraptor TRX package?

  2. Does it add rear AC vents too?
