Ford Colombia Sales Up 17 Percent In June 2023

Ford Colombia sales increased 17 percent to 426 units in June 2023 compared to June 2022 results.

Individual model sales performance was as follows:

Ford Bronco Sport sales increased 54.55 percent to 51 units
Ford E-Series sales totaled 1 units
Ford Edge sales increased 9.09 percent to 12 units
Ford Escape sales decreased 35.56 percent to 29 units
Ford Expedition sales totaled 2 units
Ford Explorer sales increased 103.85 percent to 53 units
Ford F-Series sales increased 2700 percent to 56 units
Ford Mustang sales totaled 4 units
Ford Ranger sales decreased 11.02 percent to 218 units

During the first six months of the 2023 calendar year, Ford Colombia sales increased 14 percent to 2,711 units.

The Ford Authority Take

Ford Colombia sales experienced a healthily increase in June thanks to a notable improvement in vehicle inventory in the South American country. The performance represents Ford’s second consecutive monthly increase in the Colombian market.

In June, most Ford models offered in Colombia saw an increase in sales volume of up to four digits. This was the case for F-Series line of pickup trucks, represented in Colombia exclusively by the F-150, which saw an outstanding uptick of 2,700 percent. Although the full-size pickup is seeing low sales volumes, the 56 units delivered during June were decisive in tipping the scales to the positive side.

On the other hand, the Ford Ranger and Escape suffered double-digit drops during the month. Even so, the Ranger comfortably remains The Blue Oval’s best-selling model in the Colombian market, with green figures during the first six months of the 2023 calendar year.
