As we’re right smack in the middle of summer and its soaring temperatures at the moment, it may seem a bit premature to start talking about the holiday season. However, those that love Christmas are always keen to talk about it, as well as start buying gifts for their friends and family, even if it is months in advance. For the Blue Oval fan in our lives, we’ve certainly got plenty of cool gifts to choose from – including loads of die-cast cars and of course, the legendary Hallmark Keepsake ornaments. The greeting card maker just rolled out a new addition to that particular collection, in fact – the Ford F-150 Lightning.
The all-electric Ford F-150 Lightning is the latest Hallmark Keepsake ornament among many of them, and as is the case with the rest of the collection, it features some pretty impressive detailing. In this case, it’s finished in silver with a front license plate that reads “2022” and a “2023” rear plate, along with real turning wheels.
Designed by Timothy Bishop, the metal Christmas tree ornament is an officially licensed Ford product, and comes in a gift box for easy gift giving, preservation, and storage – as many are well aware, a lot of these Keepsake ornaments wind up becoming valuable collectible items, after all. The Ford F-150 Lightning ornament carries a reasonable price tag of $21.99, but isn’t set to release until October 14th, 2023.
In the meantime, those wanting to purchase a real, full-size Ford F-150 Lightning will find it cheaper to do so after The Blue Oval slashed the prices of its EV pickup dramatically earlier this month. Following multiple rounds of increases, these price cuts vary from $6,079 for the range-topping Platinum trim up to $9,979 for the entry-level Pro, which now starts out at $49,995.
We’ll have more cool gifts like this to share soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford F-Series news, Ford F-150 news, F-150 Lightning news, and ongoing Ford news coverage.
Comments
Given how bad Ford is these days the ornament won’t be available until two Christmas’ from now.
The only problem you ask? You have to keep it plugged in most of the time!! LOL
Inquiring minds want to know, is it a lighted Lightening, and does it come with a battery-pack? Or will you need to keep it plugged into the christmas tree lights so it can run?
