Ford F-150 Tremor Front Skid Plate Kit Now Available

Revealed in December 2021 as an all-new trim level – not an optional package, as is the case with other models – the Ford F-150 Tremor effectively splits the gap between the F-150 equipped with the FX4 Off-Road Package and the more hardcore, high-performance F-150 Raptor. Among its list of added equipment, the Ford F-150 Tremor comes equipped with unique matte gray 18-inch wheels wrapped with 33-inch General Grabber all-terrain tires, which are already available for anyone to purchase via Ford’s official catalog in both matte gray and matte black. Now, FoMoCo has once again expanded its catalog with the addition of the Ford F-150 Tremor front skid plate, too.

2021-2023 Ford F-150 Tremor Front Skid Plate Kit

The new Ford F-150 Tremor front skid plate kit is designed to fit all 2021 and up four-wheel drive F-150 models built after June 2021, and contains the same exact front skid plate present on the F-150 Tremor. The new piece replaces the factory air dam with a durable steel skid plate that comes finished in silver, helping to give the front end of any compatible F-150 model a boost in terms of not only its appearance, but also its ability to protect the engine when off-roading.

Skid plates have long been a popular way for adventure seekers and off-roader enthusiasts to protect the vital mechanical components of their vehicles, and have recently started to show up more and more on OEM offerings. That’s certainly the case with the F-150 Tremor, which includes not only a front skid plate, but also some unique visual enhancements and suspension upgrades that make it more capable than the average F-150.

Listed in the Ford Performance catalog under part number M-5018-FSP, the 2021+ Ford F-150 Tremor front skid plate kit retails for $650 and is available to purchase now.

We’ll have more on the F-150 Tremor soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford F-Series news, Ford F-150 news, and 24/7 Ford news coverage.

  1. Ford needs to make the Timberline bash plate available for the Expedition ones as well, along with a 1 inch lift. Either that or Ford should make a Timberline MAX.
