Ford Maverick Discount Non-Existent During July 2023

Once again, The Blue Oval has not made any Ford Maverick discount available during July 2023, the direct results of sustained high demand and relatively low supply of the compact pickup. This has been the case since the start of the 2023 model year, so the lack of discounts or incentives is not a surprise.

For context, below we have included the Ford Maverick discount offers (or, perhaps more appropriately, the lack thereof) throughout the 2022 calendar year, as well as the 2023 calendar year to date.

2023

The good news is that supply of the Ford Maverick is gradually improving. In fact, production skyrocketed in May 2023, during which FoMoCo added a third shift at the Hermosillo Assembly plant to increase availability of the vehicle. However, production of the 2023 Ford Maverick hybrid is still constrained, meaning that it may be a better decision to opt for the 2.0L EcoBoost I4 as opposed to the the 2.5L hybrid driveline.

Ford Maverick Pricing

For reference, here are the 2023 Ford Maverick trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, including the destination charge and acquisition fee:

  • XL – $24,835
  • XLT – $27,095
  • Lariat – $30,595

  1. Wow, Kevin, I got a bridge I want to sell you. Ford has played the entire USA public for punks. Their $19,995.00 hybrid truck now costs $25K in 3 short years. That has allowed them to further hike up the starting price of the midsize Ranger pickup. Why anybody would buy a vehicle from these shisters is mind boggling. I guess as long as there are people you, there will be a Ford company.

  2. Ford is ruining the Maverick especially for 2024. The elimination of the base Hybrid, adding needless and useless cosmetic exterior additions plus elevating the base price is taking its initial simplicity and messing with it with idiotic additions and removing certain features. Why not just keep it simple, the way it debuted, Ford? Stupidity and greed!

  4. Ordered a Maverick Hybrid Lariat last week from a dealer in NE Ohio. Immediately received an email from Ford outlining their order acceptance, scheduled build and delivery dates sometime in the spring of ’24. Not in a big hurry for delivery so additional delays that may occur are built into my expectations. If you want a Maverick, follow the order process, then chill out and enjoy life ! Some of the comments in todays replies leads me to think that some of you spend too much time spent complaining.

  5. So happy with my first Maverick that I have just ordered a second. I can wait! All I hear from most of you guys on this post is negative. If you don’t like the situation go somewhere else!

    1. I agree with you. I ordered my maverick and waited 7 months for delivery. Now have 17000 hybrid miles on the best little truck ever. Hyperdrivin i sometimes get better than 60 mpg. Patience sometimes is worthwhile. Not everybody is happy, but some never are.
