In recent years, few musical artists have enjoyed the success that Austin Richard Post – otherwise known as Post Malone – has. The rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer has been in the business since 2011, first hitting the Billboard Hot 100 charts in 2015 and since watching countless songs follow suit. However, as it turns out, Post Malone is also a bit of a Ford F-150 Raptor enthusiast, having purchased a Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6 back in 2019. Now, his latest tattoo also depicts that very same type of truck, too.

As we can see in this post from The Raptor Connection, Malone recently added a tattoo of what seems to be an F-150 Raptor to his rather expansive collection of ink, right on the back of his neck. It’s somewhat difficult to tell which type of Raptor the tattoo is supposed to represent, but it is pretty clear where the inspiration came from, given the basic outline, large fender flares, and off-road tires.
Throw in the fact that Malone is a pretty vocal Raptor fan, and, well, it’s pretty obvious that this particular pickup has had an impact on his life. Even better, his brand new album also features an outline of an F-150 Raptor, as we can see in this recent Instagram post from the artist himself. Left in blank white – presumably to avoid any potential trademark issues – the truck makes a pretty prominent appearance on the new album, which is titled “Austin.”

Set to drop on July 28th, it’s unclear if the new record has any lyrical mentions of the Ford F-150 Raptor on it, but given this extreme dedication to the high-performance pickup, it certainly wouldn’t be surprising. In the meantime, we’ll just have to wait a few more days to find out.
We’ll have more on the F-150 Raptor soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford F-150 news, Ford F-150 Raptor news, and ongoing Ford news coverage.
