Long before pickups and SUVs became every bit as luxurious as their passenger car counterparts, automakers began dabbling their proverbial toes in terms of making utilitarian vehicles more comfortable and laden with features and amenities. One of the earlier luxury trims present on Ford models was the Eddie Bauer, which gave vehicles like the Ford Explorer and Ford Bronco distinctive two-tone paint, badging from the outdoor apparel company, and numerous amenities inside the cabin. Now, the 1996 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer edition – specifically – is being immortalized in diecast form by Greenlight Collectibles.
The Eddie Bauer Ford Bronco is known for its two-tone paint schemes, accent stripes, and luxurious appointments.

This 1996 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer edition diecast is just the latest in a long line of Blue Oval-based models from Greenlight Collectibles, a list that already includes the sixth-generation Ford Bronco Wildtrak, Ford Mustang Mach-E and Bronco Heritage Edition, six Ford Mustang models that make up the “Stampede” collection, two vintage Ford convertibles that appeared in the movie Grease, the 1967 Mustang “She Country Special,” and the all-new, S650-generation Mustang.
The 1996 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer diecast from Greenlight is a 1:18 scale model and is currently scheduled to be released in September. The big-bodied SUV is part of the company’s Artisan Collection, and will come finished in the color combination of Royal Blue and Tucson Bronze, giving it a classic, timeless look. For fans of the Bronco, the Eddie Bauer trim, or just Blue Oval collectibles in general, it certainly seems like it’ll be a nice addition to anyone’s collection.
