Back in June, Ford Authority spotted a Ford Bronco Raptor wearing Shelter Green Metallic paint and a host of Code Orange accents, along with painted fender flares – all things that weren’t previously available on the high-performance off-road SUV. With order banks for the 2024 Ford Bronco set to open up next Wednesday, August 16th, 2023 – as Ford Authority reported earlier this week, we expected to receive more information on any possible changes for the new model year, and now, that’s precisely what has happened, as the 2024 Ford Bronco Raptor is in fact set to receive a few updates for its third model year of production.
Perhaps the most notable change for the 2024 Ford Bronco Raptor is the addition of the new Code Orange package, which is precisely what that previously-spied prototype was equipped with. The new styling package is pretty much what it sounds like, adding a host of Code Orange accents to the rugged SUV, including the tow hooks, wheel beadlock rings, a portion of the graphics, and seat belts inside the cabin for a special touch.
In addition to this new package, 2024 Ford Bronco customers will also be able to opt for painted fender flares – which hasn’t previously been the case – which will be color-matched to the exterior paint. Ford notes that this update stems from customer feedback, which isn’t a surprise as some didn’t particularly care for the rather large, unpainted fender flares.
Finally, Ford is also adding two new exterior color options to the 2024 Bronco Raptor – the aforementioned Shelter Green Metallic, as expected, along with Velocity Blue, which has been available on several other Blue Oval models for years now, including the regular Bronco. Otherwise, the desert-running version of the sixth-gen model remains unchanged for the new model year.
We’ll have more on the 2024 Ford Bronco Raptor soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Bronco news, Bronco Raptor news, and ongoing Ford news coverage.

yea, all Fords seem to have the Black unpainted plastic on the exteriors, and it looks like crap on 80 – 100 K vehicles not to mention the sun fades them to white in a year or two. super duty has the new GM copied bed steps, and bumper steps, that are unpainted, and the badging is a cheap hunk of black plastic.
