Information about the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport is now available, and the lineup received a substantial number of changes for its latest iteration. Unfortunately, as Ford Authority previously reported, alterations to the lineup include the deletion of the base trim and the windshield wiper de-icer. Additionally, five paint options have been dropped from the lineup, three of which had been around since launch.
The 2024 Ford Bronco Sport will drop three colors that had been offered since its launch for the 2021 model year: Alto Blue Metallic, Area 51, and Cyber Orange Metallic. For 2023, all three colors are widely available on Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands. Similarly, the 2024 Ford Maverick dropped those paint options as well. The compact pickup is produced alongside the Bronco Sport at the Hermosillo Assembly plant. Other vehicles in Ford’s portfolio have also dropped Cyber Orange too, such as the Ford Mustang Mach-E and Ford Ranger.
The other two paint options dropped for 2024 are Peak Blue and Yellowstone, two colors only available on the 2023 Ford Bronco Heritage Limited Edition. The Heritage Limited Edition has been eliminated entirely from the lineup for 2024, hence the demise of those colors.
While there have been a fair number of items dropped from the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport lineup, there are a number of substantial additions as well. For starters, two new paint options are available: Azure Gray and Desert Sand, with the latter having already been spotted on public roads. Additionally, a new Black Appearance Package is now available for Big Bend, and an entirely new Free Wheeling trim joins the lineup with retro styling meant to evoke the aesthetic of retro models.

Ford is following the industry trend of rremoving color from vehicle offerings. Following the European trend of white, grey, silver and black and other offerings in this family. Color is gone, shades are here.
My God, if we get any more grayscale vehicles out there, color will be entirely gone and our roads will look like 1935 when the Depression resulted in somber-hued vehicles. Signs of an unhappy time.
I like the “Safety Colors” of yesteryear. So bright and colorful you couldn’t possibly miss seeing it
I bought a 2023 Maverick in Cyber Orange and I like the color. I wanted it because it is unique, stands out, and it could be resistant to fading. When I ordered the truck, I was willing to spend the extra $$$ for the color because it is a five coat paint job.
I am curious as to the reason for dropping the colors, could it be those colors cost too much and cut into profits.
I bought a 2022 Broncos sport pepper red and I get so many comments from other Bronco owners that say they wish they would have saw that color
Got the Red hot pepper yesterday. Beautiful
