Entering its fourth year of production, the Ford Bronco Sport has received a host of changes for the new model year – some minor, and others more notable. Now, it seems as if the crossover is set to receive one more big change, as the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport is dropping the Heritage Limited trim, a limited-edition, retro-themed variant that debuted alongside the regular Heritage model for the 2023 model year.
Though the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport can still be had in Heritage form – and the Ford Bronco can still be spec’d in Heritage or Heritage Limited trims – the Bronco Sport Heritage Limited is officially dead. Based on the Badlands trim, the Heritage Limited added a pretty extensive array of unique features to the rugged crossover, starting on the outside with an Oxford White grille (with Race Red lettering), as well as an Oxford White roof, wheels, and unique Heritage badging.
Inside the cabin, the Bronco Sport Heritage Limited comes with unique seats that contain perforated plaid inserts, an Oxford White door ring, and a unique armrest, center console, badging, and instrument patent surround. The Bronco Sport Heritage Limited is also equipped with a vast array of standard tech features such as Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go, Lane Centering, Evasive Steering Assist, and Speed Sign Recognition.
In addition to this change, the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport also dropped four exterior colors for the new model year (while gaining two others), its windshield wiper de-icer, and the entry-level Base trim. Meanwhile, the crossover is gaining two new packages for the new year – the Black Appearance Package and the also retro themed Free Wheeling Package.
