Entering its fourth model year, the Ford Bronco Sport is set to receive a few notable changes, which will likely be accompanied by some milder updates, as is usually the case. This includes the typical exterior color palette update, which in this case will see the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport gain two new hues that already exist on various other Blue Oval models – Azure Gray and Desert Sand – as Ford Authority reported last week. Now, Ford Authority has spotted a 2024 Ford Bronco Sport finished in Desert Sand for the very first time.
Aside from the availability of these two new colors, the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport is set to receive two rather major updates – the addition of the new Black Appearance Package and Free Wheelin edition. The Bronco Sport Black Appearance Package – which is offered in conjunction with the Big Bend trim level – adds a Carbon Black front grille, two-tone Bronco lettering, matte black 17-inch wheels, matte black hood graphics, a Shadow Black-painted roof, black accent trim, and a smoked chrome Blue Oval badge. Inside the cabin, the package includes Sport Contour seats and a modified air bag cover, which features a black bucking Bronco badge for added effect.
Meanwhile, the Bronco Sport Free Wheelin brings back a popular package from the 1970s that adds reflective red, orange, and yellow gradient graphics on the hood, sides, and liftgate, along with painted Shadow Black steel wheels with red accents, a Shadow Black roof, a silver-painted grille with two-tone Bronco badging, as well as a modified lower front end insert. Inside, the special model features Black Onyx and Dark Space Gray treatment with sunset-colored seat inserts, red and orange pinstriping on the dash and seats, and Race Red C-channel trim for the door panels as a way to bring that retro theme inside.
In addition to these updates, the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport is dropping its base trim – making the Big Bend the new entry-level model and effectively raising the starting MSRP of the crossover from $29,215 to $31,230, sans destination and delivery charges. As Ford Authority reported back in May, 2024 Ford Bronco Sport order banks opened up back on July 17th, 2023.
We’ll have more on the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford Bronco Sport news and ongoing Ford news coverage.

Beige is making a comeback!
What’s $2000? Just a small price increase.
I am not impressed with Mr. Farley. I hope the board is spinning the wheel of misfortune to find someone to run the company.
And still no hybrid. SMH
