2024 Ford F-150 Lariat In Rapid Red: Real World Photos

Over the past several months, Ford Authority has spotted a large number of 2024 Ford F-150 pickups out testing, a list that includes the base XL trim, Tremor, Lariat, Platinum, Raptor, Raptor R, a Heritage Edition, an XLT with the STX Package, and a Platinum with the optional Black Appearance Package, among others. Now, that list continues to grow, as Ford Authority just spotted a 2024 Ford F-150 Lariat finished in Rapid Red, giving us yet another look at the forthcoming refreshed pickup.

Unlike the previously-spied Lariat model – which was seemingly equipped with the optional Black Appearance Package – this pickup is instead adorned with more traditional chrome trim present on the bumpers, front grille, side mirrors, door handles, and various other trim pieces. It’s also a four-wheel drive model complete with the box side decal, and is equipped with fixed side steps, to boot.

There are a number of notable updates coming for the refreshed and simplified 2024 Ford F-150, as Ford Authority has reported over the past several months. In addition to new headlights and taillights and a revised front grille, that list includes some new features for the STX Package, new 22-inch wheels and an available modular front bumper, as well as a possible backlit Ford badge in the front grille, and a potential multi-function tailgate.

Inside the cabin, we’ve come across both horizontal and vertical infotainment screens in a revised layout that will somewhat emulate the all-new 2023 Ford Super Duty, and those changes could be joined by debut of the long-rumored Google-based infotainment system rather than the typical Sync-based software, though that detail remains unclear at this time. The 2024 F-150 is set to debut at the upcoming 2023 Detroit Auto Show this September, as Ford Authority recently reported, and it will be joined there by a new hybrid variant of the pickup as well.

We’ll have more on the 2024 Ford F-150 soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford F-Series newsFord F-150 news, and comprehensive Ford news coverage.

  1. I can’t imagine what design ideas they came up with that weren’t good enough. So blah….

  2. Very nice looking truck. Only thing missing are white lettered tires.

    1. anything Ford can save 3.00 on , they do. super duty no longer has white lettered tires, no two tone unless king ranch, and if you get chrome pkg , it deletes two tone, and lets not forget Ford copied GM this year with the cheap black unpainted bed steps, and bumper steps. what a frigging eye sore.

      1. Just glad they still offer full chrome option. Don’t like everything painted body colour and boring black rims.

  3. Show us the new Super Duty dash on the F-150.

  4. This refresh really tidies up the front ends. STX is my favorite but if I was a chrome guy, this Lariat would be my choice.

  5. I like red, but I like the (slightly darker) Ruby Red from a few years ago a bit better.

  6. Does it look like XL and XLT+ headlights have a completely different shape? ie would require a different fender to upgrade the XL headlights to a higher trim headlight
