The Ford F-150 Heritage Edition debuted back in June of 2022 for the 2023 model year as a retro throwback to the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, when two-tone paint jobs on Blue Oval pickups were all the rage. The Heritage Edition was also created to help celebrate the company’s 120th anniversary, as well as 75 years of the F-Series in general. As such, it wasn’t immediately clear if this special treatment would continue to be offered in future model years, but as Ford Authority reported last week, the refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 will, in fact, continue to be available in Heritage Edition form. Now, Ford Authority has spotted a 2024 Ford F-150 XLT Heritage Edition pickup out driving around for the very first time.
Aside from the mid-cycle updates we’ve seen present on other 2024 Ford F-150 models, this particular pickup looks to be essentially identical to the current Heritage Edition model, save for its black grille surround – as the existing Heritage model utilizes a body-color painted piece. Otherwise, there don’t appear to be any significant changes present here.
Currently, the F-150 Heritage Edition is offered with an array of two-tone color choices including Race Red and Carbonized Gray, Atlas Blue and Agate Black, Antimatter Blue and Carbonized Gray, Avalanche and Agate Black, and Area 51 with Agate Black.
Inside the cabin, buyers get unique slate gray and black seat inserts, special embossing for the center console lid and windshield, and a white “75 Years” logo, while the truck’s infotainment screen displays the same logo and animation upon startup. For the 2023 model year, the Heritage Edition is exclusively part of the XLT model range.
As for the 2024 Ford F-150 in general, the refreshed pickup is slated to receive a few revisions to the front and rear end styling that vary by trim and configuration, as well as new 22-inch wheels and an available modular front bumper, a possible backlit Ford badge in the front grille, and both horizontal and vertical infotainment screens in a revised layout that will somewhat emulate the all-new 2023 Ford Super Duty. The 2024 F-150 is set to debut at the upcoming 2023 Detroit Auto Show this September, as Ford Authority reported last week, and it will be joined there by a new hybrid variant of the pickup as well.
We’ll have more on the 2024 Ford F-150 Heritage Edition soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford F-Series news, Ford F-150 news, and non-stop Ford news coverage.

That has to be one of the worst designs yet for the F150. I have no idea who greenlights these designs!
This would look better if online the top half was two-tone in my opinion.
This is my least favorite grill design so far.
The paint scheme could be easily fixed by simply having it align with the bed off the back of the cab and bring it down to the straight part of the crease in the door instead of following the contour. As it is by design= HIDEOUS!!! The grille is OK, I like my 21′ MUCH better tho.
This would look much better if the roof was also silver (same as the hood and upper sideline) and just have the lower area painted the darker colour, along with the grille.
