Ford Bronco Sport 2.0L Sport Exhaust Debuts In Catalog

Exhaust systems have long been one of the most popular upgrades among vehicle owners – whether they own some sort of performance model or not. In the Ford Performance catalog, Blue Oval fans can already nab a wide variety of exhaust systems designed to unleash more sound and perhaps even a little more power from their rides, with the most recent consisting of a sport exhaust for 2020-2022 Ford Super Duty pickups equipped with the Ford 7.3L V8, as well as a variety of sport exhaust systems for Ford F-150 pickups equipped with the 2.7L EcoBoost V6, 3.5L EcoBoost V6, or 5.0L Coyote V8 powerplants. Now, that list has grown to include the Ford Bronco Sport, which just gained two new sport exhaust systems in the official Ford Performance catalog.

The Ford Bronco Sport has seen its official Blue Oval parts and accessories list grow quite a bit in recent months with the addition of the First Edition 17-inch wheel kit – which later received a price increase – as well as the new Black Diamond Off-Road Package as a factory offering. Now, owners can choose between two new sport exhaust systems for their rugged crossover, too – one finished with chrome tips, and the other with black tips – though both are only compatible with the turbocharged 2.0L I-4 EcoBoost powerplant.

The chrome Ford Bronco Sport sport exhaust is listed in the Ford Performance catalog under part number M-5230-BSC, while the black-tipped pipes have received part number M-5230-BSB. Both are largely identical for the most part, and fit all 2021-2023 Bronco Sport crossovers equipped with the 2.0L I-4 EcoBoost. Each is designed to provide a more aggressive sound, but are also 50-state legal in that they meet the 95 decibel drive-by noise standard for aftermarket exhaust systems when installed on stock vehicles.

These exhaust systems are made from 304 stainless steel and utilize the stock exhaust hangers and mounts, making for a quick, easy, and painless installation. Each of these exhaust systems is available to purchase now, with a retail price of $1,150.
