Back in August 2020, the Ram 1500 TRX was revealed as a new Ford F-150 Raptor rival with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 cranking out 702 horsepower – a whopping 252 more than the EcoBoost-powered Raptor. Ram was so proud of its accomplishment that it even poked fun of the Raptor with various hidden Easter eggs, though The Blue Oval ultimately responded with a proper Ram 1500 TRX rival – the 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R. Now, it seems as if this newly rejuvenated rivalry won’t last much longer, however, as Stellantis just announced that the Ram 1500 TRX will officially be discontinued after the 2024 model year.
To mark the end of this (short) era, Stellantis is conjuring up something special, however – the 2024 Ram 1500 TRX 6.2L Supercharged V8 – Final Edition, which is set to launch in Q4 2023 and offers customers some unique features including three exclusive exterior color options – Delmonico Red, Night Edge Blue, and Harvest Sunrise, as well as Satin Titanium bead-lock capable wheels and a 6.2L hood badge and bed decal.
Inside the cabin, the 2024 Ram 1500 TRX 6.2L Supercharged V8 – Final Edition features Patina stitching on the dash and seats, an embroidered TRX seat back logo, a special cluster splash screen, a center console badge with each model’s build number, a Satin Titanium TRX dash badge, Triaxle-suede door panel inserts, and 4×4 weave matte carbon fiber on the instrument panel, doors, console, and steering wheel. This special edition pickup features the same output as regular TRX models, but at a far heftier cost with a starting MSRP of $117,625, plus a $1,995 destination charge.
As for the Ford F-150 Raptor R, the muscular, V8-powered TRX rival will live on with the forthcoming 2024 F-150 refresh, which is set to debut at the 2023 Detroit Auto Show next month. Aside from revised stying, the refreshed Raptor is set to receive a new modular front bumper, as well as new graphics and paint options.

Well, this is a sad day, knowing that this beast is going to be put down at the end of this model year.😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
The original is still here. And the TRX will be back with a Turbo 6. Then you can really start crying.
Just wait, there will be a Last Call, the a Final Last Call, then a We Really Mean Last Call This Time editions. Then come the special orders for special RAMmers.
Really enjoying all the TRX videos showing the driver being stupid and crashing hard.
You do realize that these fools probably have their Raptor R’s on order already.
