FordDirect Picks Velocity Automotive As Preferred Provider

Now, those efforts continue to expand thanks to a new partnership between FordDirect and Velocity Automotive.

Velocity Automotive has been officially endorsed by FordDirect as its preferred vehicle portfolio and reconditioning technology provider for U.S.-based Ford and Lincoln dealerships, which means that it will provide those retailers with the ability to utilize a single, end-to-end platform with access to the tools each needs for a more strategic approach to pre-owned inventory management using a digital workflow process that improves visibility, collaboration, and accuracy.

Velocity can provide this courtesy of its reconditioning engine, which helps dealers get pre-owned inventory to market faster and more efficiently. It also provides window stickers and VIN-specific digital vehicle documentation portfolios designed to engage and convert shoppers by providing the consumer-facing vehicle information needed to speed up the purchase path. The company specializes in automotive retailing technology solutions designed to get vehicles ready to sell quicker and more efficiently by using this data in a strategic manner.
