Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid Officially Launches In China

The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus will arrive in the United States early next year as an all-new midsize luxury crossover. It replaces the current model, which has been produced under two different names since the 2016 model year. Aside from the massive display, which is standard on all models, it also debuts an all-new hybrid powertrain. And now, it has officially launched in China.

As part of the 2023 Chengdu Motor Show, Ford’s luxury brand released some details about the all-new Lincoln Nautilus hybrid, including its price. Like its American counterparts, it will be offered in three trim levels, with prices ranging from 368,800 to 468,800 RMB ($50,583 to $64,300). As for the hybrid, The all-new 2.0L turbocharged hybrid engine is rated at 207 kW (277 horsepower) and 407 Nm (300 pound-feet) of torque. Lincoln says the Nautilus hybrid can travel 1,129 kilometers (702 miles) on a single tank of gas.

Additionally, the Chinese market Nautilus will receive a fair number of amenities for second row passengers, including ventilated seats with massage functionality that incorporates five different modes, and three intensity options.

The introduction of the new Lincoln Nautilus hybrid comes as the brand has enjoyed steady growth in the Chinese market, where sales have outpaced U.S. volume since 2021. It joins the Zephyr sedan as the second all-new model to launch in the country since last year. With a focus on younger buyers, Lincoln has enjoyed some success in China, with its tech being well received by new owners. Lincoln has also rolled out special edition models like the Lincoln Navigator One and the Centennial SVP lineup in the country. By contrast, Ford is struggling in China, and CEO Jim Farley recently said that the brand will likely be rebooted there in the near future.
