Refreshed Ford Kuga Officially Revealed For Argentina

The refreshed 2023 Ford Escape was revealed back in October 2022, giving the long-running crossover a fresh face, a revamped trim level lineup, and a revised interior with new technology and a larger infotainment screen. However, the Ford Kuga – the Escape’s rebadged counterpart sold in other parts of the world – has since soldiered on unchanged, though Ford Authority spotted a refreshed version of that crossover just last week bearing styling that looks nearly identical to the 2023 Escape. Now, the refreshed Ford Kuga has been officially revealed for Argentina, giving us our first look at the revamped model.

As expected, the refreshed Ford Kuga is essentially identical to the 2023 Escape, including its revised exterior appearance with slimmer LED headlights, a coast-to-coast light bar, a hexagonal front grille, new 19-inch wheels, and a revised rear end with new taillights and satin gray appliqués for the bumper.

The same goes for the interior, which features new seats with micro-perforated leather, heated front seats with 10-way power adjustment for the driver and 6-way for the passenger, reclining rear seats, and a 13.2-inch infotainment screen running SYNC 4 that also has wireless Android Auto and Apple Car Play compatibility. The driver gets a new 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a head-up display, while a 10-speaker B&O premium audio system provides the tunes.

In terms of powertrains, the Argentinian Ford Kuga gets one hybrid option – the 2.5L Atkinson cycle gas engine paired with an electric motor, which generate a combined 203 horsepower that flows to all four wheels via an eCVT gearbox. Customers in that particular country have five colors to choose from – Panther Black, Mercury Grey, Vapor Blue, Oxford White, and Lunar Silver – and will be able to purchase their new Ford Kuga by the end of September, though pricing has not yet been revealed.
