Those in the market for a nice, low-mile, eighth- or ninth-generation Ford F-150 have certainly had plenty to choose from recently as collectors flock to pickups of this vintage in throes. That list includes a 28k-mile 1994 F-150, a 195-mile 1990 model, and a 1995 XLT pickup with 4k original miles, to name just a few. Now, that list continues to grow with this recently-listed 1993 Ford F-150 Flareside that has just 9k miles on the clock and is currently up for grabs at Bring a Trailer.
This 1993 Ford F-150 XLT Flareside was acquired by the selling dealer in 2021, but it certainly hasn’t been driven much over the years, given its incredibly low mileage total. That also reflects in the excellent condition of the pickup, which features flawless red paint covering a regular cab, short bed configuration and that rather popular Flareside treatment out back. Gray stripes and side steps provide a bit of contrast, along with a set of 15-inch aluminum wheels.
The same goes for the super sanitary cabin, which is covered in gray cloth with a color matched dash and door panels, along with amenities such as power windows, cruise control, a cassette stereo, and air conditioning. Underneath, the basic pickup utilizes power-assisted front disc brakes, with a set of old fashioned rear drums equipped with a rear anti-lock feature to bring it to a halt.
Pop the hood, and one will find the venerable Ford 5.0L V8 nestled in the engine bay, which is equipped with multi-port electronic fuel injection and sends power to either the rear or all four wheels via a column-shifted four-speed automatic transmission and a push-button dual-range transfer case. In fantastic condition and in a desirable configuration/body style, this 1993 Ford F-150 has already garnered considerable interest at auction, and appears set to hammer for a solid price – as it should.
