2024 Ford Super Duty Adds New Darkened Bronze Color

The 2024 Ford Super Duty gains two new colors, including Glacier Gray Metallic Tri-Coat and Darkened Bronze Metallic. Here’s everything you need to know about the latter, Darkened Bronze Metallic.

Tagged with paint code LJ, Darkened Bronze Metallic is offered on the 2024 Ford Super Duty XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch and Limited trims as a no-cost option. It can also be equipped as the second half of the two-tone paint scheme offered on the Super Duty King Ranch. Darkened Bronze is able to be outfitted in conjunction with all interior colorways, which are as follows:

  • Medium Dark Slate
  • Baja
  • Black Onyx
  • Black Onyx/Carmelo
  • Java
  • Admiral Blue/Light Slate

Darkened Bronze Metallic is one of 10 available exterior colors for the 2024 Ford Super Duty. The entire color lineup is as follows (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):

  • Agate Black Metallic (UM)
  • Antimatter Blue Metallic (HX)
  • Carbonized Gray Metallic (M7)

Order banks for the 2024 Ford Super Duty opened in July. There aren’t many changes on the way for the heavy duty pickup line – which received a substantial refresh for the 2023 model year – although the XL and XLT trims gain Onboard Scales and Smart Hitch to make towing easier.

The F-Series line (including the Ford Super Duty) has proved to be a hit with consumers – so much so, in fact, that FoMoCo’s full-size and heavy sudty pickups generated more revenue during the 2022 calendar year than Starbucks, Netflix and Visa.
