The Ford Authority Take

The solid increase in Ford Brazil sales during August expands the brand’s positive streak in the South American country. Not only does the performance marks seven consecutive months of sales gains for FoMoCo, but the 2,497 deliveries recorded last month also represent one of the highest records in the recent history of Ford Brazil.

Once again, Ford’s strong performance in the country during August was led its newest vehicles, starting with the all-new Ford Ranger. The redesigned midsize pickup continues to improve sales volume and level of competitiveness in the Brazilian market, with significant double-digit increases both during the month of August and during the first eight months of the 2023 calendar year.

The Ford Transit and Territory also posted healthy gains during the month contributing to FoMoCo’s strong overall result. That said, not every nameplate was in the green during the month. Besides the drop experienced by the Mustang and Maverick, the recently introduced Ford F-150 lost momentum compared to the last few months.
