The 14th-generation Ford F-150 was introduced back in 2020, and it’s not a rare event to see one out on the road, especially considering that the highly popular F-Series range once again outsold its direct rivals last quarter by a significant margin. Ford Authority had the opportunity to spend some time with a Ford F-150 King Ranch, combing over its exterior with a camera and snapping detailed photos of its various elements along the way.
More specifically, this pickup is dressed in Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (paint code D4), which contrasts nicely with the truck’s chrome accents. Up front, we see the Stone Gray single-bar-style grille with a striking chrome surround and Stone Gray accents – a signature of the King Ranch trim. Also note the King Ranch front fender badges, leading the eye toward the aforementioned grille.
This particular truck wears a variety of chrome accents, including bumpers, belt moldings, door handles with body-color straps, tow hooks and skull caps adorning the mirrors. All of these are included as part of the optional, and aptly named, King Ranch Chrome Appearance Package.
This particular pickup rolls on a set of 20-inch chrome-like PVD wheels with King Ranch badged wheel ornaments, which are bundled in the aforementioned King Ranch Chrome Appearance Package. The bright chrome theming is carried around to the pickup’s rear, which features a chrome tailgate appliqué, a chrome rear bumper, and a chrome single-tip exhaust outlet.
Looking ahead, customers interested in adding the latest Ford F-150 King Ranch to their fleet won’t have to wait very long to get their names in the books, as order banks for the 2024 F-150 will open up on September 13th, 2023, as previously reported by Ford Authority. The 2024 F-150 will bring a midcycle refresh to the F-150, delivering quite a few upgrades over its predecessor, including new 22-inch wheels, an optional modular front bumper, a redesigned Ford Blue Oval badge, and a new trim called Lobo, just to name a few.
We’ll have more on the Ford F-150 soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford F-Series news, Ford F-150 news, and comprehensive Ford news coverage.

Comment
Ford is too focused on trim options and not enough attention to quality. 85k vehicles shouldn’t be recalled multiple times per year for basics.
