Once again, The Blue Oval has not made any Ford Maverick discount available during September 2023, a direct results of sustained high demand and relatively low supply of the compact pickup. As this has been a common scenario for most of the compact pickup’s 2023 model year, the lack of discounts or incentives this month is not exactly a surprise.
For context, below we have included the Ford Maverick discount offers (or, perhaps more appropriately, the lack thereof) throughout the 2022 calendar year, as well as the 2023 calendar year to date.
2022
- April – 3.9 percent APR financing
- May – 3.9 percent APR financing
- June – 3.9 percent APR financing
- July – 3.9 percent APR financing
- August – 3.9 percent APR financing
- September – 3.9 percent APR financing
- October – 3.9 percent APR financing
- November – 3.9 percent APR financing
- December – 3.9 percent APR financing
2023
- January – no incentives
- February – no incentives
- March – no incentives
- April – no incentives
- May – no incentives
- June – no incentives
- July – no incentives
- August – Ford Red Carpet Lease deal
- September – no incentives
The good news is that production of the Maverick stayed on track during July, meaning that supply of the compact pickup at the dealer level will likely continue to improve. Production of the 2023 Ford Maverick is set to end in October, however, and some orders could be pushed to the 2024 model year as FoMoCo continues its mission to produce enough units to answer extremely high demand.

Comments
How many XL hybred orders will be moved to 2024? Will we get price protection or the Ford fickle finger of fate? Most likely the latter. Good luck folks!!
The day before the UAW goes out on strike, I received my build date/VIN # email on the Sept 2022 order for a 2023 Hybrid Lariat. It will be a 2024 model with a week of Nov. 20 build. I wonder, due to the strike, how many emails I will get notifying me of “supply chain” issues due to the strike? Glad to finally get the build notice and hope to have the truck before Christmas.
Ford Dealers are horrible to their customers. Ford corporate is under producing the Maverick to keep the shortage up. Ford, who could make, 607,568 mustangs decades ago. Made 83,898 Mavericks last year. That’s just deliberate.
I ordered a 2024 Ford Maverick in that “window” before it closed. It is being built in Mexico. How can I find out about the progress on the “Build”?
