With production of the Ford GT officially wrapped up – for now, at least – we continue to see plenty of rare variants and low-mile examples popping up at various auction sites across the web. That includes a Heritage Blue Carbon Series, a gray Carbon Series, and even a GT-R GT2 racer, to name just a few, as well as more than one order kit for the supercar. Now, this 2021 Ford GT Studio Collection Series model has surfaced for sale at Bring a Trailer, and it’s one of just 20 produced in that particular model year.
This particular 2021 Ford GT Studio Collection Series was purchased new by the seller at Reineke Ford in Lima, Ohio, and has just 752 miles showing on the odometer. As such, it remains in basically brand new condition, with flawless Frozen White paint with Ingot Silver Studio Collection graphics, the gloss Exterior Carbon-Fiber package, a Gorilla Glass windshield and 20-inch forged Satin Diamond Silver wheels wrapped with 245/35 front and 325/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
Inside the cabin, this Ford GT is spec’d with the optional Re-Entry Package, along with black and white leather Sparco seats that feature manually reclinable carbon-fiber shells, exposed carbon fiber on the door sills, dashboard, and center console, an adjustable pedal box, and a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel with paddle shifters.
As is the case with all second-generation GT models, this one is powered by the twin-turbocharged Ford 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine, which in this guise generates 660 horsepower and 550 pound-feet of torque that flows to the rear wheels via a Getrag seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. This particular car also features an Akrapovič titanium exhaust system to help free up some extra power and sound. With an original MSRP of $643,200, this Ford GT Studio Collection Series model has already been bid up to $788,000 as of this writing with six days to go, meaning that it’s going to rake in some serious cash when the hammer falls in a few days.
