The Ford F-150 may not be everyone’s first choice when it comes to street performance, but the pickup can certainly fill that niche with the right equipment. Take this 2014 Ford F-150 Shelby SVT Raptor that recently crossed the auction block, boasting a Whipple supercharger and other high-performance upgrades, for example, or this 2021 F-150 Shelby Super Snake Sport with a supercharger lashed to its Ford 5.0L V8 Coyote engine for maximum output. Another blown F-150 is currently up for sale on Bring a Trailer, and this unique vehicle is not only a head-turner, but boasts a sturdy Roush supercharger and a host of track-ready equipment.
One of the more interesting touches gracing this stunning 2019 Ford F-150 is the SVT and Lightning badging on its fenders. No, that’s not a reference to the all-electric Ford F-150 Lightning – rather, it’s a throwback to the second generation SVT Lightning, which is was a high-performance variant of the popular pickup offered from 1999 to 2004.
This supercharged 2019 F-150 features a coat of striking orange paint, which pairs well with its blacked-out exterior accents, 22-inch silver wheels and black/gray interior. Its paperwork indicates that it was originally painted in Oxford White, but was repainted orange to go along with its SVT Lightning aesthetic.
The odometer reads just over 9,000 miles, meaning this pickup is barely broken in, and certainly looks almost new. The interior was reupholstered, replacing the stock upholstery with black leather and gray microsuede outer trim. It even has embroidered Lightning script in the seatbacks, carrying the Lightning theming through to the interior.
As for the mechanical bits, the stock 5.0L V8 engine has been topped with a Roush supercharger kit, featuring a roots-type supercharger, an aluminum intercooler and an upgraded radiator. The modified exhaust boasts dual side-exit outlets with MBPR outlets.
This 2019 Ford F-150 has spent time in Georgia, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and New Jersey. Its report is clean, and shows no accidents or damage. As of this writing, the high bid is $17,000, and interested buyers have until October 5th to place their bids.
