2024 Ford Expedition Timberline Arrives In Mexico

The Mexican Ford lineup has expanded in a big way over the past several months, with new products including the Ford Bronco Heritage and Heritage Limited, the all-new 2024 Ford Mustang, the Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium and GT Performance Edition, the Ford Bronco Sport Black Diamond, and the refreshed Ford Expedition. Up until now, the Expedition was only offered in two trims and three different configurations in Mexico, however – Limited and Limited Max in two-wheel drive, and Platinum Max in four-wheel drive. Now, that lineup has expanded to include the 2024 Ford Expedition Timberline.

The more off-road-focused 2024 Ford Expedition Timberline features a host of upgrades to help out in that department, as well as enhance its looks. That includes Carbonized Gray and orange accents, unique 18-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, darkened headlights, Timberline bagging, and some suspension upgrades to boot.

Power for the 2024 Ford Expedition Timberline comes from the twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine in high-output guise, which means that it generates 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. Power flows to all four wheels via FoMoCo’s 10-speed automatic transmission, aided by features like Terrain Control and Trail Turn Assist. The 2024 Ford Expedition Timberline is launching in Mexico with an MSRP of $1,770,000 ($96,296 USD), and is available to purchase now.

“Ford Expedition is more than a family transport,” said Lucien Pinto, Director of Marketing and Sales at Ford of Mexico. “It is a full-size SUV that allows families to share adventures and make connections with confidence and comfort. Thanks to the renovated interiors and connectivity improvements, Ford Expedition Timberline will make any experience unforgettable.”
