With the drag of winter behind it, the Ford Performance Racing School closed out 2022 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in mid-November last year, taking a bit of a break before announcing the first round of spring dates in January. As the earth began to thaw out, the school added more dates to its calendar this past May, along with the brand new Ford Performance Racing School Advance Driving Day for those that have already attended the entry-level classes in the past. Now, as the calendar turns to fall, the Ford Performance Racing School has released its final dates for 2023.
The last two-day course available for this year’s schedule will take place on October 28th-29th at Charlotte Motor Speedway, giving those interested in honing their driving skills in a professional setting one more chance to do so before winter sets in and the school goes on its extended annual break.
These classes are offered as both one-day and two-day sessions in specially-prepped Ford Mustang GT models. The one-day class costs $1,795 and includes a classroom session and track orientation laps covering everything from heel and toe shifting to cornering, vehicle dynamics exercises, and three track sessions lasting 20 minutes each.

Stepping up to the two-day class costs $3,795 and adds more track time, to the tune of five additional 20 minute stints on day two, where drivers can spend some more time putting their newfound skills to the test. Finally, the aforementioned advanced day driving school class is available for $2,895 that includes a 2:1 student to instructor ratio, two classroom sessions, and two full hours of track time, all of which is designed to help students take their skills to the next level. Those interested in signing up for one of these classes can do so by heading over here.
