Ford Argentina Sales Up 28 Percent In September 2023

Ford Argentina sales increased 28 percent to 3,347 units in September 2023. The figures placed Ford as the fifth best-selling car brand in Argentina, behind Toyota, Fiat, Volkswagen and Renault.

Individual model sales performance was as follows:

Ford Bronco Sport sales decreased 85.58 percent to 15 units
Ford EcoSport sales decreased 98.59 percent to 5 units
Ford F-Series sales increased 300 percent to 20 units
Ford Kuga sales decreased 100 percent to 0 units
Ford Maverick sales increased 365 percent to 186 units
Ford Mustang sales increased 200 percent to 3 units
Ford Ranger sales increased 101.42 percent to 2,687 units
Ford Territory sales decreased 42.69 percent to 290 units
Ford Transit sales decreased 41.81 percent to 135 units

During the first nine months of the 2023 calendar year, Ford Argentina sales increased 35 percent to 28,839 units.

The Ford Authority Take

September marked the tenth consecutive month of growth in Ford Argentina sales, with one of the best growth rates among the main players in the country. In fact, The Blue Oval’s sales performance contrasts with the notable falls of several of its rivals and the Argentine market – which contracted 3.1 percent last month.

Ford Argentina’s notable improvement during September was driven by the solid performance of the locally manufactured and all-new Ford Ranger, which continued to hold both its records and its level of competitiveness when compared to its chief rivals. Ford’s midsize pickup was the country’s third best-selling nameplate for the month, surpassing the best-selling Toyota Hilux for the second month in a row.
