The Ford Authority Take

For the third consecutive month, Ford Colombia’s sales dropped. However, last month’s rate of decline was milder and significantly smaller than previous months.

That said, several models experienced an increase in sales compared to 2022, and only two nameplates recorded losses for September. That was the case with the Ford Ranger, which suffered a notable double-digit contraction that caused the overall decline. The midsize pickup lost first place in sales last month but maintains that position in the accumulated total for the year.

In contrast, the Ford Escape recorded a healthy 16 percent increase that positioned it as FoMoCo Colombia’s most popular nameplate in September. The Ford Explorer and Bronco Sport crossovers also posted healthy increases.
