Ford Mustang Mach-E Sales Begin In Argentina

Since it launched in the U.S. for the 2021 model year, the Ford Mustang Mach-E has gone on sale in various other global markets, a list that includes Australia, Brazil, and Taiwan. As Ford Authority reported back in September, the Mach-E was also slated to launch in Argentina at the end of October, and now, a few weeks later, the EV crossover is officially on sale in that part of the world, the automaker has announced.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E is the very first Blue Oval EV sold in Argentina, notably, but customers interested in purchasing one will only have one option, at least initially – the range-topping GT Performance Edition, which is the quickest variant available right now. The Ford Mustang Mach-E Performance Edition is equipped with two electric motors, which generate a combined 480 horsepower and 634 pound-feet of torque, enabling it to rocket from 0-60 mph in around 3.5 seconds.

In addition to a standard 2 kW 220-volt outlet, Ford Mustang Mach-E customers in Argentina can also utilize a 7 kW portable Wallbox charger, which allows them to recharge the battery from 20-80 percent in less than 8 hours. Additionally, The Blue Oval is partnering with ABB and ChargeBox for installation services, as well as additional at-home charging solutions. The Ford Mustang Mach-E has already arrived at dealerships in Argentina, where customers can purchase one now, but deliveries garnered from customer orders aren’t expected begin until we get closer to the end of November. Pricing for the EV crossover starts out at $118,750,000 ARS, which includes the 7 kW portage charger, but not installation.
