Ford Transit Trail Wheel Kit Debuts In Blue Oval Catalog

The Ford Transit Trail debuted nearly one year ago as a more rugged and off-road capable – as well as upfit-ready – variant of the ever-popular van, aimed directly at the burgeoning community of overlanders and those that just like to spend time out in the wilderness. There are quite a few things about the Transit Trail that make it different from the rest of the lineup, including its 16-inch black alloy wheels. Now, those same wheels are available via Ford’s official catalog.

Listed under part number M-1007K-T16MB, this Ford Transit Trail wheel kit joins a host of other, similar offerings in the Blue Oval catalog, including the 2023 Ford Super Duty Black Appearance Package wheel kit, the Ford F-150 Tremor 18-inch matte gray wheel kit, the Ford Bronco Badlands 17-inch wheel kit, and the Bronco Everglades wheel kit. Now, owners of other Ford Transit models can get the same look as the Trail, thanks to this new wheel kit.

The new Ford Transit Trail wheel kit includes four 16-inch matte black wheels with a 101mm offset, which are designed to fit Transit models from the 2015 model year onward. The kit also includes four Ford black oval center caps, plus four tire pressure monitoring sensors and an activation tool to help ensure there won’t be any warning lights when they’re installed.

The 2015+ Ford Transit Trail wheel kit retails for $1,800 and is available to purchase now. Those that want to complete the look present on the more rugged variant could also mate the wheels with the same 30.5-inch Goodyear Wrangler Workhorse all-terrain tires that come on the Trail, though it also touts a 2.75-inch wider track and 3.5 inches of additional ride height compared to the regular Transit.

We’ll have more on the 2023 Transit Trail soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford Transit news and ongoing Ford news coverage.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

Part number M-1007K-T16MB is not the wheel that comes on the Transit, it’s an option for any Transit Cargo van.
    Ford “Authority”, huh?
If I want to put the Trail wheels on my AWD Transit (6-lug), what is the part number and where can I order them?
