Back in early September, Whipple revealed its brand new 2024 Ford Mustang supercharger kit for models powered by the 5.0L V8 Coyote engine – in both Stage 1 and Stage 2 guise. The aftermarket outfit not only updated its existing pony car supercharger to fit the revised Coyote powerplant in the GT and Dark Horse, but also gave it an enhanced rotor profile and port shape that helps maximize output even further. Then, at this year’s SEMA Show, FoMoCo pulled the covers off the new FP800S concept package, which includes a 3.0L Whipple supercharger that lifts output to at least 800 horsepower. However, those interested in purchasing the new 2024 Ford Mustang Whipple supercharger without all the other FP800S bells and whistles will be able to do that, too.
The new Ford Performance Parts 2024 Ford Mustang supercharger kit is compatible with the GT equipped with either the manual or automatic transmission, for now, though the automaker notes that it will launch a Dark Horse specific supercharger kit in the near future as well. As for the GT kit, it includes Whipple’s sixth-generation 3.0L twin-screw supercharger, a 92mm throttle body, a 120mm dual air intake system, dual high-flow filters, billet high flow fuel rails, an oversized heat exchanger, high-flow intercooler pump, high-flow dual-beam fuel injectors, an integrated intercooled air-bypass system, and the Tomahawk V2 flash tool with data logging capacity.
The Ford Performance Parts 2024 Ford Mustang supercharger kit has been tested by the automaker to meet its durability standards, and the new offering comes with a three-year, 36,000-mile and is CARB complaint when installed by an ASE-certified technician or Blue Oval dealer. The new kit is expected to launch in 2024, though no specific date – nor pricing – has been revealed yet.
“The Ford Performance supercharger kit means more power and more excitement for Mustang owners,” said product manager Michael Goodwin. “With at least 800 horsepower, this Ford Performance option takes the already-powerful Ford Mustang GT to an extreme level that should satisfy even the most demanding driver.”

There we go! Very nice.
So it’s not Commifornia-Compliant if a DIY’er self installs it?!? F-the-H off CARB!
The crowds better be ready to run.
This from the same company that used to deny warranty claims when a car had aftermarket exhaust systems, Holley carb, headers, whatever!! LOL
