Back in March, Ford launched a new version of its existing ad campaign dubbed “Built Ford Proud,” and this time around, it enlisted a trio of notable people to star in those advertisements – one of whom is Emmy Award-nominated actress and Ford Bronco Heritage Limited owner Sydney Sweeney. That particular partnership soon grew to include a full clothing line called Ford x Sydney Sweeney, which promptly sold out after just 31 hours. It’s pretty clear that this particular relationship is a good one for all involved parties, and as such, Sweeney recently helped Ford kick off its decision to open the Bronco Off-Roadeo to everyone by participating in the experience herself.
Sweeney headed out to the Moab, Utah Bronco Off-Roadeo location for a day of adventure, which she documented in detail via her social media channels while also showing off her Robin’s Egg Blue Bronco Heritage Limited. Of course, Sweeney didn’t tear up her own rig on this outing, instead driving one of Ford’s dedicated Off-Roadeo Broncos, which is one of the best parts of this particular experience. The actress also owns a first-generation, 1969 Bronco that she has restored herself, which is precisely what inspired her to team up with the automaker in the first place.
Even before all of that happened, Sweeney grew up in a family full of mechanics in Spokane, Washington, and even learned how to drive in her grandfather’s Ford F-100 – making this partnership a bit more meaningful and real than the average advert.
“Bronco Off-Roadeo is not just about driving – it’s about learning, feeling empowered, and challenging yourself,” Sweeney said. “It is a playground for everyone; and now that it’s open to all with Half-Day Adventure, I’m so excited to come back with all of my friends!”
