With the 2023 SEMA Show kicking off earlier this week, a large number of automakers and automotive aftermarket companies are showing off the latest and greatest in terms of parts, accessories, new packages, and custom vehicles. Thus far, The Blue Oval has revealed the 2024 Ford Mustang FP800S concept package, as well as the Ford Bronco and Ford Ranger Ford Performance Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) packages, while Steeda showed off its McQueen Racing F-150 Off-Road Edition. Now, FoMoCo has pulled the wraps off yet another cool custom model – the Ford Bronco Sport Blue Free Wheeling.
The Ford Bronco Sport Blue Free Wheeling expands upon the brand new Bronco Sport Free Wheeling that was just revealed back in July, resurrecting a retro look that first appeared on Ford Bronco back in the 1970s that has since become a favorite target among collectors. It’s also designed to show off Ford’s new Accessory Personalization program, which gives owners the chance to customize the look of their vehicles by using graphics and various other parts available from the automaker.
The Ford Bronco Sport Blue Free Wheeling is equipped with an Accessory Personalization concept package that adds a host of components including custom blue graphics, an open-air Bimini top, tube doors, an Outer Banks front grille, and painted wheel arches. Ford also installed a two-inch Bilstein lift kit and suspension upgrade that has been tuned to Ford Performance’s unique specifications to enhance the crossover’s off-road capability, to boot. As we can see in the photos, blue accents adorn the wheels, seats, and other bits and pieces, too.
It’s a unique look for sure, and an interesting take on the multi-color stripes present on the regular, production Ford Bronco Sport Free Wheeling. The Blue Oval hasn’t released any sort of pricing or availability information for its new Accessory Personalization program, but we expect that to be announced very soon.
We’ll have much more SEMA coverage to share soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford Bronco Sport news and comprehensive Ford news coverage.
