The Ford Authority Take
Ford E-Series sales continued to climb during Q3 2023, signaling good news for The Blue Oval as it continues to move past supply chain issues that have been plaguing the automotive industry at large for the better part of the last few years. This has allowed the automaker to build enough units of the van to align with customer demand.
Looking ahead, Ford E-Series sales could continue to climb, thanks to minor changes on the way for the 2024 model year. This includes the deletion of the Economy tune in favor of the naturally-aspirated Ford 7.3L V8 Godzilla engine. Moving forward, the E-Series will offer just one drivetrain calibration, with an output of 325 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, as its flex fuel capability option has also been eliminated from the lineup.
Ford Authority spotted a prototype of a potential refreshed model undergoing testing, showing off a revised front grille with a vertical element in the middle, along with a refreshed front bumper cover. As of this writing, a potential refresh would likely be introduced for the 2025 model year.
