Long before the all-new Ford Ranger debuted in Brazil, The Blue Oval promised that it and the new Everest would be treated to an expansive catalog of aftermarkets parts, which is no surprise given the fact that owners have long shown a desire to modify their rides in various ways. Since then, the Ford Ranger has launched in the South American country to great success, with a lineup that continues to expand and will soon include the Ranger Raptor, too. Now, shortly after FoMoCo revealed the new Ford Performance Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) concept package for the Ranger at SEMA, the automaker’s Brazilian arm has debuted a new accessory lineup for the mid-size pickup, too.
This new launch adds roughly 30 new parts and accessories to the Brazilian Ford Ranger catalog, each of which was tested in-house and is available to install via Ford dealers in that country. This list contains some familiar upgrades that have long been popular in the truck world, including a drop-in bed liner, roof rails, a sport bar for the bed, and even General Grabber A/TX RWL 255/70R17 off-road tires, but that’s just a small piece of what customers can choose from.
That includes things like tray-style floor liners for the interior to provide a little protection from stuff like mud and dirt, along with a snorkel for traversing deeper water off-road, and even three different kinds of bed coverings – a “marine” unit with sealing to prevent water from seeping in, a retractable hard aluminum cover, and another powered piece that can be controlled remotely.
From there, Brazilian Ranger customers that want to spend some time outdoors in the wilderness can even purchase a bed-mounted tent, along with a retractable canopy and a hard storage shell that expands the pickup’s cargo-carrying capacity. All of these components are available to purchase directly from The Blue Oval or a Ford dealer in Brazil now.
