Greenlight Collectibles has released its fair share of new Blue Oval diecast models this year, a list that includes the 1948 Ford Deluxe and 1949 Mercury convertibles from the iconic movie Grease, along with the 1946 Ford Super De Luxe from the TV show Home Improvement and a special Ford Mustang Mach-E that celebrates models that have served in the FBI Police unit. Now, FoMoCo fans have yet another cool diecast model to choose from and add to their own collection – this 1947 Ford Deluxe convertible that’s been transformed into a low rider, also by the company known as Greenlight Collectibles.

This new 1947 Ford Deluxe convertible is a 1:64 scale diecast that’s one of several models being launched as part of Greenlight Collectibles’ new California Lowriders series, which is actually the fifth release in that particular line. It’s finished in black with traditional orange and yellow flames, some red accents, and plenty of chrome, all of which is accompanied by a lowered stance and red steel wheels with chrome center caps.
The 1947 Ford Deluxe convertible is joined by five other models that make up this new collection as well – a 1955 Chevy Bel Air, 1963 Chevy Impala, 1964 Chevy Impala convertible, 1971 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, and a 1972 Chevy Monte Carlo, representing the one and only Blue Oval branded machine in this latest release. As of right now, Greenlight Collectibles hasn’t set a specific release date for the new California Lowriders collection – which happens to be the fifth installment in that particular line – but expects it to launch at some point in Spring 2024.
