The Ford Bronco Heritage brings classic style to the off-road SUV, but it has unfortunately been difficult to acquire lately, considering that orders for certain configurations of the 2023 Bronco Heritage were cancelled last month. Now, it seems that customers who didn’t get hands on the 2024 Ford Bronco Heritage no longer have the chance to do so, as the order banks have closed, according to Bronco Nation.
Order banks for the 2024 Bronco have been open since August. Customers who held orders for the 2023 Bronco Heritage that were canceled had the chance to reorder a 2024 model year SUV with a special offer before the order banks closed on December 1st, 2023. Order banks for the 2024 Ford Bronco Heritage two-door subsequently closed to dealers and customers on December 4th. Meanwhile, the best way to get hands on the 2024 Bronco Heritage four-door is to check on dealer lots, as order banks for this model closed on November 27th, 2023 after extremely short notice. It’s not clear at this time if Ford will reopen order banks for the Heritage or Heritage Limited.
As for what else is on the way for the 2024 Ford Bronco, the rugged pony has quite a few changes in store. Its navigation system offers Connected Navigation with one year of service for certain models, and it no longer features the Trailer Tow Package as standard, although it can still be ordered as a standalone option. The High and Lux packages have been combined for customers looking to dress their Bronco with premium features, while the 12-inch touchscreen is now standard across the board. Meanwhile, Area 51 is no longer offered as an exterior color option, and the keyless entry keypad has also been dropped for the forthcoming model year. Some models have even been treated to an upgraded steering gear.
As expected, all these changes come at a price, as the 2024 Ford Bronco is more expensive than the outgoing 2023 model.
