The 2024 Ford Escape gained only one new color for the forthcoming model year, known as Race Red, which is exclusive to the Active and fleet-only Base trim. However, this new color comes at the cost of two other color options that have been deleted from the lineup: Cinnabar Red Metallic and Atlas Blue Metallic.
New for 2023, Cinnabar Red Metallic (paint code L8) was a $485 option for the 2023 Escape, and was offered on all trim levels. Atlas Blue Metallic (paint code B3) was introduced for the crossover’s 2022 model year and was also available across all trims as a no-cost option. As a reminder, the following list represents all exterior colors available for the 2023 Ford Escape (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):
- Star White Metallic (AZ)
- Atlas Blue Metallic (B3)
- Rapid Red Metallic (D4)
- Iconic Silver Metallic (JS)
- Carbonized Gray Metallic (M7)
- Agate Black Metallic (UM)
- Oxford White (YZ)
- Vapor Blue Metallic (K1)
- Cinnabar Red Metallic (L8)
Meanwhile, the 2024 Ford Escape features the following exterior color lineup (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):
- Star White Metallic Tri-coat (AZ)
- Vapor Blue Metallic (K1)
- Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (D4)
- Iconic Silver Metallic (JS)
- Carbonized Gray Metallic (M7)
- Agate Black Metallic (UM)
- Oxford White (YZ)
- Race Red (PQ)
Coming off a considerable refresh for the 2023 model year, the 2024 Ford Escape doesn’t feature many major changes or updates, aside from the aforementioned change to the Base trim, which is now a fleet-only trim level. Other changes on the way include the deletion of the SecuriCode keypad, while the connected navigation system subscription has been changed, and now only grants one year of complimentary service to buyers of the 2024 Ford Escape.

The Escape color palette is the most boring of all compact CUVs (for 2024). Called caving to dealers that just order the “Boring 4”. I don’t want a “Boring 4” next go-round. Pathetic.
Atlas blue is gone? Idk how popular it was, but it was my favorite.
So the 2024 model is basically a downgrade
