Ford Authority is constantly on the lookout for the refreshed 2024 Ford F-150, and we’ve already spotted quite a few examples of the forthcoming pickup out in the real world, including an XL in Iconic Silver, a Lariat in Rapid Red, and another showing off what’s included in the STX Package. Most recently, we spied a 2024 F-150 XL SuperCrew 4×4 on public roads.
This particular 2024 Ford F-150 XL features the exterior color known as Antimatter Blue Metallic (paint code HX), which has been on offer since the pickup’s 2021 model year. Meanwhile, under the hood, this 2024 F-150 features the turbocharged Ford 2.7L V6 EcoBoost engine, which takes the place of the 3.3L V6 as the standard powerhouse for the pickup this year. This engine offers a healthy 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque, and the pickup itself boasts a max payload of 2,455 pounds and a max tow rating of 13,500 pounds, both of which are best in class.
Other changes that have been applied to the refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 lineup include the standard 12-inch infotainment screen, as well as a 12-inch cluster screen, with an all-new available head-up display. The refreshed F-150 is also the very first vehicle from FoMoCo in North America to be fitted with the Ford Stolen Vehicle Services feature, which can help locate and recover the vehicle if it is stolen. Pro Power Onboard has also been treated to a new user interface as part of the refresh, which relays relevant information via the onboard Sync 4 infotainment screen or the FordPass app.
Pricing for the 2024 Ford F-150 XL starts at $36,570, which makes the pickup almost $2,000 more expensive than its 2023 model year counterpart.

$2000 more for an XL? Ha. That’s why I just bought a 2023.
