NASCAR Ford team Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing (RFK) has been on a roll lately, announcing intent to field the No. 60 Mustang for David Ragan in the 2024 Daytona 500, with hopes to turn its Stage 60 project into a fulltime Cup Series and possible IMSA effort in the future. Recently, the motorsports outfit took home quite a few trophies off the track, earning 14 accolades in the 2023 MarCom Awards, according to Jayski.
The annual MarCom Awards are presented by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), recognizing “excellence in marketing and communication strategies across various industries.” The MarCom Awards evaluates over 6,500 entries every year, and only 18 percent of those are granted Platinum-tier awards and 22 percent receive Gold-tier. Since 2011, RFK has been granted 38 Platinum MarCom Awards.
This year, RFK was recognized for its collaboration with its sponsors, Fastenal, Castrol, Fifth Third Bank, BlueForge Alliance, King’s Hawaiian, Wyndham Rewards, Esperion and Titan Fitness, performing well in innovative marketing campaigns and digital platforms this year.
“Receiving 14 MarCom Awards – including eight Platinum – is a testament to the dedication, creativity, and collaborative spirit of our team at RFK Marketing,” said RFK vice president of Marketing and Communications, Kevin Woods. “This remarkable achievement validates our relentless pursuit of innovation and excellence in every campaign we undertake.”
RFK was also given a Viddy Award (Videography Award) for its work with Fastenal in the Manufacturing Speed series, while RFK’s sales and marketing team earned a Platinum Team Achievement Award, while the NASCAR Ford team’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram feeds were recognized as best in class with Platinum Awards.
“We are immensely proud of our team’s accomplishments and grateful for the trust our clients place in us to bring their visions to life,” Woods said.
