As stock car racing’s “silly season” winds down, NASCAR Ford team Ryan Shane Sieg Racing (RSS) has announced the drivers that will participate in its Xfinity Series efforts in 2024, including a two familiar faces and one new one.
Ryan Sieg announced that he will return to his family’s Xfinity Series stable next year, where he will continue to pilot the No. 39 NASCAR Ford Mustang. He’ll be a fulltime entry again next year, with sponsor SciAps on his car for all 33 races in the 2024 Xfinity Series. In 2023, he competed in 32 races and closed out the season with four top 10 finishes, an average starting position of 21.59, and average finishing position of 19.62. He was 18th in the overall Xfinity championship.
Meanwhile, Kyle Sieg will also take the wheel of a NASCAR Ford for RSS fulltime in 2024. He drove the No. 28 NASCAR Ford part time for the team in 2023, making 31 starts with an average finishing position of 23.5, and is expected to run with the same number in 2024. His sponsors will be announced at a later date.

Finally, Blaine Perkins has signed with RSS as a fulltime Xfinity Series competitor for 2024, off a 30-race season in 2023, where he split his time between SS GreenLight Racing and Our Motorsports, though he sat out the race at Dover after flipping at Talladega in the spring, and failed to qualify for the race at Texas in the fall. Perkins’ best finish was posted at Martinsville, where he brought his NASCAR Ford across the line in 13th. Thus far, he has 41 Xfinity Series starts under his belt since 2021. He’ll take control of the No. 29 Mustang next year, although his sponsor lineup has yet to be revealed.
