In recent months, we’ve seen our fair share of newer Ford Crown Victoria models hit various collector car auctions across the web and sell for more and more money as people begin to appreciate the big sedan for what it is – a great vehicle that simply doesn’t exist anymore. However, that doesn’t mean older models aren’t just as loved, as we’ve seen nice examples like this 1988 LTD Crown Vic and a stellar 10k-mile 1990 LX LTD surface for sale recently, too. Now, that list continues with this rather nice 1991 Ford Crown Victoria LTD LX that’s currently up for grabs at Bring a Trailer.
This pretty amazing 1991 Ford Crown Victoria was originally delivered to Mills Ford of Anaheim, California, and it remained registered in that state until 2015. Now, it has made its way across the country to South Carolina, but it’s looking for a new home with a mere 10k miles on the clock, which has the sedan looking like it just rolled off the assembly line. In fact, there are no flaws noted in the car’s Medium Alabaster Clearcoat paint, nor the Pastel Alabaster vinyl landau top.
The same goes for the stellar Light Sandalwood cloth interior, which shows very little wear given its age. It’s also equipped with several amenities including a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, power windows, locks, and mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Kenwood stereo.
Power for this big sedan comes from the naturally-aspirated Ford 5.0L V8, which in this guise was factory-rated to send 150 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Though it hasn’t traveled far in its lifetime, the seller has treated this Crown Vic to a round of recent maintenance, ensuring that it’ll be good to go for the new owner – if they choose to drive it.
We’ll have more cool auctions finds like this to share soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Crown Victoria news and ongoing Ford news coverage.
