1995 Ford Aerostar XLT E-4WD With 57K Miles Up For Auction

The Ford Aerostar existed in a time when America was obsessed with minivans, which were the preferred family hauler of choice for years. Ford built a total of two million Aerostars over its decade in production, in fact, though we rarely see any on the road today – let alone nice examples pop up for sale very often. We have come across a sub-20k mile 1990 XLT and a 1993 XL with 48k miles over the past couple of years, however, and now, we have another stellar example to add to that list – this very nice 1995 Ford Aerostar XLT E-4WD model that’s currently up for grabs at Bring a Trailer.

This 1995 Ford Aerostar is an extended-length model that was delivered new to Marley Gross Ford Inc. in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania, and remained in the possession of the original owner until the seller acquired it last year. With just 57k miles on the clock, it remains in stellar condition inside and out, with only minor imperfections marring its otherwise pristine Deep Emerald Green paint and Mocha lower-body panels.

The same is true of the Mocha interior, which features cloth seats with patterned inserts and red accents, coupled with amenities like power lumbar adjustment, second-row captain’s chairs, a floor console, a high-capacity air conditioning system, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, a rear defroster, cruise control, power windows and door locks, and front and rear climate controls.

This particular Aerostar is powered by the naturally-aspirated Ford 4.0L V6, which in this guise was factory rated to send 152 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission and an Electronic-4WD system – a unique setup that pairs a Dana TC28 transfer case with a center differential. In excellent condition with a clean history, it’s certainly a stellar example of its breed, and one that should have its fair share of suitors at auction.

  1. It’s beautiful, but there’s no way I’d pay the inflated prices on BaT.
