Lol this happened to my dad’s Explorer Sport. The a pillar trim started to come off. He solved it bey epoxying that trim on.
Of all the Ford’s we’ve had, that was by far the worst. It truly had no redeeming qualities other than looking pretty decent.
How about showing us the actual piece of trim in question?
yeah , you would think a simple picture to indicate the area involved would be a good thought !
i have a 2019 f250 xlt with a piece of trim thats on passenger side at rear of cab (by pick up bed )that is lose ,broken eyelet on end of piece that’s anchorded by ,”philips screw” thats located behind the rear window glass. cant get to it without removing the rear window , the rear window has no trim or bezel or frame. just a tinted rear window glass. i’m afaird its going to fly off and hit another vehicle’s windshield. so i taped with gorilla tape. looks really getto. NEED’S RECALL.
If you consider this issue to the other reported issues of the Explorer from this generation, and then you add in the launch nightmare of the 2020 redesign, I’m seriously concerned about the output quality of Chicago Assembly. As someone who is considering purchasing an Explorer in the near future, I may very well reconsider…
