As has long been the case with its predecessors, the catalog of parts and accessories pertaining to the all-new S650 Ford Mustang continues to grow at a rapid pace. This trend figures to continue indefinitely considering how incredibly popular the pony car has proven to be over the years, with many of these types of visual and performance upgrades sold via the official Ford Performance catalog, in addition to various aftermarket companies. The latest addition to that particular catalog is already here, in fact, and it’s a set of front strut mounts designed to fit select 2015-2024 Ford Mustang models from the S550 and S650 generations.
Sold in the Ford Performance catalog under part number M-18183-MDH, these new 2015-2024 Ford Mustang front strut tower mounts are the same pieces that come as standard equipment on 2021-2023 Mustang Mach 1 and 2024 Mustang Dark Horse models equipped with the optional Handling Package. The strut tower mounts fit a wide variety of Mustang models including the 2015-2024 EcoBoost and GT, the 2015-2020 Shelby GT350 and GT350R, the 2020-2023 Shelby GT500, and the 2024 Dark Horse.
According to Ford, these front strut tower mounts allow owners to make camber adjustments up to -2.3 degrees, and the parts feature optimized rubber durometers that provide excellent handling and tunability, though users must have all of the hardware required to mount them to the strut spring assembly. Sold as a pair, the retail price for this new part comes in at $410, and the mounts are available to purchase through the Ford Performance catalog now.
These front strut mounts are just the latest addition to what is a quickly-growing list of parts and accessories available for the 2024 Ford Mustang via the Ford Performance catalog, a list that already includes the Dark Horse’s anodized titanium shift knob, unique Recaro seats, a supercharger kit for models equipped with the 5.0L V8 Coyote engine, a Sport and Extreme exhaust for pony cars with the turbocharged 2.3L I-4 EcoBoost engine, and another exhaust system for the Dark Horse, specifically.
