The 2023 Ford Super Duty brought about a full redesign for The Blue Oval’s best-selling pickup, one with new styling, a new interior design, and the addition of numerous tech features. However, it isn’t alone in the hotly-contested heavy-duty truck space, as its chief rivals – including the Ram and Chevy Silverado HD lineups – continue to receive their own revamps as well. The Silverado HD was just treated to a refresh for the 2024 model year, in fact, which included not only the typical styling and tech updates, but also the debut of the new off-road-focused ZR2. Regardless, GM isn’t resting on its laurels, apparently, and has updated the 2025 Chevy Silverado HD as well.
The 2025 Chevy Silverado HD lineup is adding to its relatively major refresh from last year with a variety of new and updated features. Those include the newly-available Front and Rear Park Assist feature, which is optional on WT, Custom, and LT trims, as well as standard equipment on the more rugged ZR2.
Additionally, Adaptive Cruise Control is now included as standard equipment on the luxurious High Country Trim, while the Custom-trimmed pickup gets an available Blackout Package. Customers can opt for the HD Midnight Edition package as well, which gets a new 20-inch wheel design for the 2025 model year, rounding out the updates for the revised lineup, which is slated to launch at some time this summer. Pricing has yet to be announced, however.
These changes build upon the ones introduced for the 2024 model year, which added a new front fascia, a variety of new wheel options, new headlights, a new grille, C-shaped graphic lamps, and dual-projector headlamps for LTZ, ZR2, and High Country trims, along with the new 10-speed Allison gearbox, all while LT, LTZ and High Country trims feature an all-new instrument panel, a a 13.4-inch infotainment screen, and 12.3-inch-diagonal configurable driver information center, as well as a redesigned wireless phone charger inside the cabin.
