Bill Brown Ford in Livonia, Michigan has long been one of the top-selling Ford dealerships on earth, having previously been named the number one such entity in the world after a banner year in sales in 2021. At that time, it was a stunning development for the Detroit-area Ford dealer, as it overtook Brandon Ford in Tampa, Florida, which had won that same honor in 2019 and 2020, as well as Galpin Ford of Los Angeles, California, which earned that distinction for a whopping 29 consecutive years prior to 2019. Bill Brown Ford repeated that feat in 2022, and now, it has also added 2023 to that impressive winning streak as well.
In another challenging year full of supply chain issues, high interest rates, soaring prices, and a United Auto Workers (UAW) strike, Bill Brown managed to retain its title as the best-selling Ford dealer in the world for the third consecutive year. Sadly, 2023 also marked the passing of Ed Brown, who led that same dealership for the past 50 years, though now, his son Tom has taken over the reigns as the new dealer principal.
“My father created a unique dealership environment that consistently exceeds customer expectations,” Tom Brown said. “It’s something you don’t see enough of today. We empower all our employees to grow and contribute to our customers’ and dealership’s long-term success. Our unique approach to customer service, community involvement, and the wellbeing of our employees is the cornerstone of what makes Bill Brown Ford so special and why we’re #1 for a third year.”
“We’re not just selling someone a car; we ensure that every mile they travel in their new Ford is as enjoyable as the first,” said Matt Garchow, Sales Manager of Bill Brown Ford. “At Bill Brown, we’ve redefined the car-buying experience. We uniquely provide a single dedicated sales associate who is your guide and advocate from start to finish, ensuring everyone that enters our dealership finds the perfect vehicle for life’s adventures.”
